VALUABLE FIND.
STATUE OF GREEK GODDESS. Received January 21, 9.5 a.m. ATHENS, Jan. 20. Peasants near Calacryta, in Peloponnesus, unearthed a life-size bronze statuo of Athene, Greek Goddess of Wisdom. Experts have not yet been able to examino the remarkable find, as the peasants have concealed it. Even the arrest of peasants has failed thus far to induce tho revelation of the hiding place.—A. and N.Z. cable.
