TOKOMARU.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The weather throughout the holidays has been most propitious, and variouspicnic parties have taken advantage of it. The tennis courts also have been well patronised'. Mr and Mrs E. Smith and family have been the guests of Mr and Mrs J. R. Whyte during the holidays. Mr and Mrs Drake, senr., have been spending a few weeks with their son. Miss Drake also accompanied them. Mr and Mrs Newbury motored through to Otaki on Sunday, en route to their home in Wellington.
