AERIAL SERVICE.
ROUTE OVER DESERT. Received December 30, 10.55 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 29. “We have first got to prove the success of the desert route from Cairo to Karachi, via Bagdad,” said Sir Eric Geddes at tho annual meeting of the Imperial Airway Board. “If wo prove reliability' and punctuality thereon, it will open tho possibilities for a service between Bombay and Calcutta, and it will be even possible in years hence to fly regularly between Rangoon and Singapore, and perhaps beyond.”:—A. and.
