DE PINEDO’S RETURN.
AVIATOR’S HOME-COMING.
WELCOMED BY MUSSOLINI.
ROME, Nov. 8. Signor Mussolini publicly embraced the Marchese de Pinedo on the latter’s return to Rome, where he was greeted tumultously by thousands of people and escorted by a host of aeroplanes.—Sydney Sun cable.
READY FOR ANOTHER TRIP
ROME, Nov. 8. Signor in a speech welcoming de Pinedo, declared that the aviator deserved to be acclaimed by national poets like D’Annunzio and Dante.
De Pinedo used the same machine throughout. The motor was most perfect despite the 34,000 mile journey. The aviator says that he is ready for another circle of the globe if necessary.—A. and N.Z. cable.
Wing-Commander Marchese de Pinedo has made practically a world flight in order to test the efficiency of the Italian aeroplane.
