NEW SCHEME PROPOSED,
BRIGHTON’S GOOD QUALITIES.
(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. 1 Received November 10, 9 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 8. The Board of Trade is considering a sscheme whereby Brighton will become the British Hollywood, and where serious efforts will be made to put British films on a world basis. The selection is the result of meteorological advice that Brighton holds the record of sunshine and has the best photographic qualities. Electric companies and building firms have undertaken to quickly erect the necessary studios, while the corporation has offered a choice of a site from 5000 acres available. There is no American money in the proposed scheme.
