LONDON AND BERLIN. ANNIVERSARY OF REVOLUTION. LONDON, Nov. 8. A reception rivalling anything witnessed under the Gzarist regime for magnificence was held at the Soviet headquarters in London. The celebration was on the occasion of the anniversary 'of the Bolshevik revolution. Five hundred guests included bankers, diplomats and business men. Even a more splendid display was recorded in Berlin, where a gathering of 800 guests at the Embassy included Herr Luther, Dr. Stresemann, Lord d’Abernon and M. Tchitcherin. A large portrait of Lenin was ’ conspicuously displayed. The orchestra played “The International” several times. Such recognition of the Soviet power in Berlin is unparalleled.—A. and N.Z. cable.
