COLD NIGHT PREDICTED.
The Government Meteorologist telegraphed to-day:—The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, with a southerly tendency. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. The night will probably be very cold. Tho barometer is rising slowly.
