ARRESTED ON WHARF.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 9. On the arrival of the Tahiti from Sydney two passengers, Lionel Vincent Gates and Elsie Genties, were arrested on the wharf by detectives. They were later*charged at the Court with hating conspired at Melbourne to defraud Messrs Palmer and Co. of £BO. Both were remanded until Monday.
