SCHOOLMASTER’S DEATH.
HEAD BADLY SHATTERED
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 9. The body of Charles Thomas Edwards, headmaster of the Mercer School, was found in a washhouse >esterday, with the head badly shattered by a gun shot fired through the mouth. Edwards, who left a note indicating that lie intended committing suicide, was 60 years of age and was not married. He had been a teacher at the Mercer School for 40 years.
