THIEVES GET £20,000
NEW YORK, Oct. 27 Amazingly active thieves stole jewellery worth £20,000 during a 70-mile hurricane on Saturday night. Using an extension ladder, the robbers climbed to the roof of a twostorey building, then on to a fivestorey structure adjoining, and, finally two more ''stofeys to the roof of a warehouse, where they broke the skylight and entered.
