PORTER SUSPENDED. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 8. After the last race at Riccarton yesterday F. C. Porter was called before the stewards and suspended for the rest of the meeting for crossing the field on Money Order soon after the start of the Stewards’ Handicap. In the running of the second division of the Linwood Handicap at Riccarton on Saturday Phantasy and Grey Eyes fell, the rider of the latter, E. Moore, having his left leg broken below the knee. An enquiry was opened but adjourned till to-day.
