DEATH SENTENCE COMMUTED. Received November 6, 11.15 a.m. MOSCOW, Nov. 5. The president of the' central executive of the Soviet Union commuted tiie deatii sentence on the German students into ten years’ imprisonment. —Reuter. Three German students, alleged to belong to the German reactionary Konsul organisation, were sentenced to death in July last on a charge ol plotting to assassinate Trotsky and Stalin. The Berlin Government sent a strong protest to Moscow.
