FOXTON NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) A meeting of those interested in tennis at the beach was to have ho-ui licki this week for the purpose of considering ways and means of raising funds to cover the cost ol purchasing -sufficient wire netting to surround the courts but, owing to outside attractions, the meeting was postponed to a later date. New books for the bench library have come to hand and hare been placed in circulation. These hocks include the latest fiction by popular authors. During the past few months considerable building activity has been shown at the beach, a number >f row houses having been erected, piincipally at the north end ot tin-* waterfront.
