CHILD DROWNED.
TRAGEDY IN TARANAKI. Per Press Association.
HA WEB A, Nov. 6. Robert Keith Gulliver, the son of Mr L. E. Gulliver, of Mercmere, was drowned in an open pit near his parents’ residence yesterday afternoon, j ,o child, who was aged two years, went to play in the backyard and a few minutes later was found dead on the surface of the liquid in an uncovered cesspit within a few feet of the house.
