THE COMPETITIONS. ' ADDITIONAL RESULTS IN PRIZE LIST. Considerable interest was taken in tho ring competitions at tho Spring Show this afternoon, when thero was a very large attendance of the public. Results up to tho time this edition went to press were as follow : Best lady driver, two wheeled vehicles: Airs T. V. Morrin (Hastings) 1, Aliss W. Craven (Hastings) 2, Aliss H. Bird 2, Miss E. Fitzgerald (Palmerston North) 3; tlireo entries. Embroidered frock, in linen or cotton : Aliss A. It. McLean 1; only entry. Infant’s knitted garments: Mrs AL E. Wood (Palmerston North) 1 and 2. Mrs F. Kemp (Palmerston North) 3; II entries, infant’s vest: Airs Al. A. Greggan (Levin) 1, 'Airs F. Kemp 2; 11 entries. Infant’s woollen jacket (knitted): Aliss B. Shewan (Wanganui) 1, Airs Al. A. Greggan 2, Airs Al. E. Wood 3; nine entries. Infant’s woollen petticoat (knitted): Aliss M Steed (Napier) I, Mrs A. I. Smith (Paekakariki) 2, Airs AI. A. Greggan 3, Airs F. Kemp v.li.c.; 12 entries. Infant’s woollen bootees (knitted): Miss B. Shewan 1, Mrs M. A. Greggan 2, Airs A. I. Smith 3; 15 entries. Infant’s woollen bonnet (knitted): Airs AI. A. Greggan 1, Airs M. E. Wood 2, Alls A. I. Smith 3; 10 entries. Handknitted sox: Airs D. AlacDonald (Feilding) 1 and 3, Aliss 0. Patten (Puaha, South island) 2; 11 entries. JUDGE’S COAIAIENTS. Aliss Al. Alacandrew, of Wellington, the judge in the art and fancy needlework section, said that tho standard of tho work was very high indeed, although she did not think that the numlier of entries was up to that of last year. Particularly fine were the knitted and fino sewing classes. Tho work in tlio trousseau classes had been outstanding.
