FARMERS AT BOWEN

RAJL WAY MEN SUSPENDED

The Government lias suspended twelve railwayman at Bowen on a charge of refusing to truck coal to the wharves. The railwaymen have called a stopwork meeting for to-day, at which it is expected a decision will l>e reached that all railwaymen shall cease work. The Premier stated that there will he no turning hack so far as the Government was concerned. The Government was not to he dictated to hy a body which set itself against the Government’s authority. The farmers have commenced loading sugar into the ships at Bowen. — Press Association.
