ESCAPED PRISONER.
. SEEN IN LIN WOOD. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 4. Charles Henry Augustus Jones, tho prisoner who escaped from Paparua prison last month, is still in Christchurch. Chief-Detective Gibson stated to-day that Jones had been seen in Linwood on Monday where two houses have been entered by Jones. The police report that ho did nob break into tlio houses, but walked in through the doors. At ono place ho took 10s, and at tho other, when seen by a woman, he decamped without any loot.
