YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 26. An inquest opened this afternoon on the body of May Wiggins, aged 25, who died in a private hospital. In answer to Detective Bickerdike, Dr. Lindsay said there was considerable suspicion of an illegal operation. The enquiry was adjourned till after a post-mortem examination has been made.
