SYDNEY, July 19. At the Stadium, . ,Leo . Wax defeated Harry Young in eight rounds, the referee stopping the contest owing to the severe punishment administered to Young. At the Balmain Stadium, Stan Thurbon defeated Jimmy Semniens iin the sixth round for the batam championship of Australia. Thurbon was the aggressor throughout, and with a series of heavy body blows floored Semmens, ’who was counted out.— Press Association. MELBOURNE, July 19.
