AUCKLAND PROGRAMMES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 17. The Auckland Racing Club’s programmes for next season have been passed. The prize money amounts to £65,800. Seven races for each day was decided on instead of eight. The Auckland Plate, one mile and a half, weight-for-age event, has been renamed the Clifford Plate, in honour of Sir George Clifford » RACING IN AUSTRALIA. SYDNEY, July 19. At Rosehill, the Nursery Handicap resulted:—Hairera P, Dartmoor 2, Glen Kellan 13. Won by a length and a-half. Time, 1.422 • —Press Association.
