WIRELESS MESSAGES.
SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENTS. LONDON, July 13. The wireless expert, Mr Partridge, states that the reception over the week-end was excellent from four to eight o’clock in the morning, and messages were picked up from the following transmitters: Messrs Maciurean and Nolan, of Sydney, and Ellecox and Howden, of Melbourne. These have been more or less audible for several weeks.
Mr Partridge is at present continuing his dawn .experiments, but later will change over to evening transmission. He expects this will yield a great success in short wave communication.
Ho has lately been regularly in touch with the following New Zealanders: Messrs Patty, of Gisborne, and Slade, of Dunedin, also station Z 4 AL, which has not been identified. He is most anxious to cultivate Antipodean experiments.—A. and N.Z. cable. I .'
