ALLEGED LIBEL.
Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, July 15. A writ has been filed in the Supreme Court at Wellington by Mr E. Gibbard, solicitor, of Dannevirke, acting on behalf of Alice Maud Ward, against the publisher and managing editor of the New Zealand Truth, Wellington, claiming £IC,COQ damages for alleged libel in respect to an article which appeared on February 2, 1924, respecting an action heard in the Dannevirke Magistrate’s Court, in which plaintiff was ono of the litigants. The case is expected to be heard at the coming session of the Supreme Court at Wellington.
