COLLAPSE OF A BUILDING.
MANSLAUGHTER CHARGES FOLLOW MELBOURNE, June 29. At the conclusion of the inquiry in connection with the collapse of the BritishAustralian Tobacco Company's premises, the Coroner committed for trial on a charge of manslaughter Francis Davis, architect, Robert Asslcy Cooper, one of the contractors, and Albert Royal, clerk of works. Nominal bail was allowed.— Press Association.
