UNLAWFUL USE OF MOTOR CAR.
YOUNG MAN SENT TO GAOL

Alfred Smith, aged 31), and James Peter Walker, aged 29, at the Police Court to-day were sentenced to two months for unlawfully using a motor car, which they took from a street in the city. The car was found at Upper Hutt in a damaged condition. The damage was estimated at £IOO. ‘‘lt appears to me,” said Chief-De-tective Kemp, “that nothing but imprisonment will put down this class ot offence.”
