NAPIER PARK MEETING.
GREEXMEADOWS, June 19.
The Napier Park Wintor Meeting opened to-day in dull and cold weather. The courso is heavy. There is a good attendance. Results: MOTEO HURDLES, of 1500 sovs., 1J miles Bonecto (Bowden) 9.5 1 Many Colours 10.6 2 Garzon 9.5 3 Scratched: Gold Piece. Won by three lengths. Time, 3.23 2-5. PETANE STEEPLES, of 125 sovs. Two miles. Kovno (McSweoney) 10.13 ... 1 Maraetotara, 10.4 2 Mahia, 10.4 3 All started. The placed horses were the only ones to finish. Won by 10 lengths. Time, 4.35 1-5. The Poverty Bay Trotting Club has received a generous donation of £2OO from Mr R. C. Fisken, a patron cf the sport, being the winnings of his horse at the recent meeting.
