DISPUTE OVER DECISIONS
MANILA, May 19. In the Far Eastern Games the Philippines beat Japan at baseball by 4 games to nil. The Philippines also won tlie 400 metres high hurdles. Japan won tlie lenr.is singles from the Philippines. Tim relative points are: —Philippines 72 1-3. Japan 69 1-3 and China 1-3. The Japanese team withdrew from the Fai Eastern Gaines owing to the alleged unfair decisions of the umpires in the track and held events. The games have been postponed until Wednesday, pending i. settlement. The Japanese athletes assembled on the field and sung their National Anthem. Many were in tears when they withdrew. —Reuter.
