\ bazaar in aid of St. David’s Presbyterian Church building funds was held in the Coronation Hall to-day. The function was very well attended and it is expected that a considerable sum will be raised. Prior to the monthly meeting of the Oroua County Council to-day tho members carried the following resolution, standing in sileneo: “That this council place on record its appreciation of the gieat and faithful service rendered to the Dominion and the Empire by the late Rt Hon. \V F. Massey and convey to Mrs Massev and family the' very sincere sympathy of the inhabitants of Oroua County in their loss of a loved, honoured and distinguished husband and father.”
