CO-OP DINATING HEADQUARTERS
MUSSOLINI AND THE NEXT WAR (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received May 20, 8.50 a.in. ROME, May 19. The Senate adopted by 160 votes to 28 a bill co-ordinating the headquarters staff of the three arms unde r the Army Chief. Replying to the former- Marine Minister, Admiral Revel, who was of 'the opinion that Italy’s destiny, would be decidel on the sea, and who objected to the navy being subordinated, Signor Mussolini said: “The navy must not be subordinated to the army, but in view of the likelihood that the next war will be terrestrial, the army would be the greatest of the three forces and must accordingly furnish the head, at the ,;ioint defence headquarters.— Reuter.
