POLITICAL OUTLOOK.

THE LABOUR VIEWPOINT. Per Prose Association CHRISTCHURCH, May 18. The Labour view of the political situation was expressed at a public meeting last evening, when Mr Howard, M.P., siad that he did not think there would be a coalition of the Reformers and Liberals. It looked as if Reform would not be able to carry on. A no-confidence motion would beat them, nnd if the Liberals formed a Government they would last no langer than it would take to get a no confidence motion through. Then Mr Holland would be sent for, because the Governor-General had no right to grant a dissolution until he had exhausted every means to get a Government to carry on.
