(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright,) Received May 19 9.50 a.m. MONTE VIDEO, May 18. The British steaWr Trehawko a month ago struck a reef 60 miles south of Cape Filar, foundering immediately. Thirty-four of the crew crowded into two lifeboats and rowed aimlessly for several days. They were fearfully exhausted when tho Norwegian steamer Taloma sighted them. So great was the rush to get aboard tho Taloma that two lost their lives. The survivors arrived here to-day.— Sydney Sun cable.
