NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.

The Mauau atu A. and P. Association has been advised by the rector of the Boys’ High School that the Rugby matches for Wednesday, 17th June, and Saturday, 20tli June, have now been arranged. Wairarapa Boys’ High School will play the Palmerston North boys’ first fifteen and Dannevirke High School first fifteen will play the Palmerston North boys’ second fifteen as a curtain-raiser on the Wednesday. On the Saturday the first fifteen will play Wanganui Technical College whilst the second fifteen will play Feilding Agricultural College as a curtain-raiser. The Manawatu Rugby Union has arranged for tho Te Kawau and Oroua Sub-Unions to meet on Thursday afternoon, 18th J fine, and is endeavouring to arrange a curtainraiser for same. The Manatvatu Football Association has had Friday afternoon, 19th June, allocated to its game and will put on a really good match with a curtain-raiser. The ptogramme is therefore reple-e with a really good list of matches which will be n source of gratification to all lovers of both games. The space is nearly all gone now and there remains but the filling up of competitive sections, such as roots, grain, vegetables, fruit, cookery, needlework, photography, etc. All entries including poultry, for which a separate schedule is issued, will close on Ist June, and readers are asked to note that every nntrv counts, and not let the show go hack for lack of support.
