WINTER SHOW

This year's event, us will be seen from our advertising columns, is set down for the 16th to 20th June, both days inclusive, making it a five days' show. Tito Manii watu .'Poultry Association’s annual snow will as usual be held in conjunction with the main exhibition- on ,17th, 18th and 19th •June. A long and attractive list of cups and specials is provided' for this fixture. The National Dairy Show prize-list, contains in addition to the usual clasies a schedule for fat cattle, sheep and lambs, iiiis atomic being sold by auction the day after it has been judged. The stow is growing rapidly in favour as a pedigree stock sale ground, as indicated by numerous sales wriich are to take place. For the amusement of visitors a. programme of evening entertainments is being compiled, whilst the day sessions will be occupied with ring and football events. The association has the hearty co-operation of the Manawatu Rugby Union and this will ensure some fine displays of the notional game. A new class for novice native riders has been put in the schedule of ring events, additional to the usual elaeres for open and maiden hunters, lady riders and pony jump. The floor space of the buildings has, with the addition of the latest extension, a total of upwards of 70,000 square feet of accommodation.
