Mr McCready, postmaster, Hunlerville, has been promoted to the Eltham office, and will be succeeded at Hunterville by Mr D. J. Graham, of Ohaupo, Waikato.

Rov. G. T. Brown, who returned to Palmerston North on Thursday from a visit to Dunedin, will ocoupy the pulpit at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Cliuron to* morrow.

Burdekin, of Hawera, ,haa been appointed general manager and secretary of the Otago'and Southland Finance Corporations, Ltd., with headquarters in Dunedin, and will leave for the South at the end of next month. Wallace and Miss Wallace, of Palmerston North, Who have been in England for some months paat, expec . to leave London on May 30th by the s.s Osterley on the return voyage to New Zealand, via the Suez Canal. Mr and Misi Wallace should arrive in Palmerston North about July 20th. They had booked to leave by the Orvieto on May 2nl, but Mr Wallace was unavoidably detained in London.
