Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week per Waiwera and Baradine. llomp.—Manila was inactive during this week, but closed firmer with sales of “J” grade March-May shipments £sl 10s. New Zealand market continues quiet with small business reported ufloat and in dock at £39 for highpoints and £37 for fair. Forward position no demand. Wool.—The Bradford market is quiet and little new business is being done. At the close there were indications of more activity in Merino, but crossbred is neglected. Present quotations aro:—64’s (Merino) warp 5s 3d, 64’s (Merino) average 5s Id, 56’s (super halfbred) 3s 6d, 40’s prepared (coarse crossbred) 2s 6d. Oats. —The market is dull and English is plentiful. White is quoted at: Seed 34s per 3361b5; feed 295. No. 2 Canadian western April shipment offered at 28s 6d. Nominal value New Zealand “A” spot 30s to 325; “B” 29s to 30s; for shipment le per quarter less. Tallow. —The spot market is quiet hut there is fair demand at auction. No torward business is reported. Present quotations are the same as last week except mutton fino 48s per cwt, fair to good 45s 6d to 475; beef, sweet and mixed, 46a. Eggs.—The demand is slow and the market quiet. English, Danish and Dutch 12s 9d to 15s 6d per long 100; Irish, Belgian and Italian 12s io 12a 9d; Styrion, Polish and Russian 10s 3d to 11s 3d.
