MARQUIS CURZON’S SUCCESSOR
LONDON, March 27. The Daily Express states that Lord Salisbury succeeds ino late Marquis Curzon as Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Lords. If Earl Balfour is willing, he may join the Cabinet as Lord Privy Seal, but it is thought most likely that Viscount Cecil will tuke over that office, a young peer succeeding him as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, A. and N.Z. cable.
