FIREMEN COMPLAIN.
MARAMA HELD UP. SYDNEY, March 27. The Mamma, which was due to sail from Sydney at noon yesterday, was held up by firemen, who just before sailing time went ashore and held a meeting on the wharf, where they complained of the conditions in the stokehold, stating that the seacocks were not in working order and the conditions were unbearable. As they did not return aboard, the vessel moved to anchorage in the harbour.—Press Association.
