MANSON AND BARR CUP* A Tink from Takaro visited Woodville on Saturday in an effor" to secure the Manson and Barr Cup but after a close contest was unsuccessful. The teams were as follow:—Takaro: Morgan, Flint, Smith, Tantrum /skip); Woodville, Homo, Lyon, Pickering, Dr Mules (skip). Takaro led 15—13 at tho 19th head, but Woodville added three on each of the 20th and 21st heads and won by 19 to 15. CHRISTOHURCH BEATS WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Feb. B. In a contest between teams representing Christchurch and Wellington bowling centres a handsome tiki presented by Mr M. Barnett, of Christchurch, was played for the first time and won by Curistchurch by six games fcs two. The aggregate scores were: Cliristchurch 204, Wellington 153. The visitois, who were warmly congratulated on their v.in, were cordially welcomed and entertained at a sooial function.
