ARTILLERY CAMP.
6th (NAPIER) BATTERY AT FOXTON. Five Officers and 83 men of the 6th Battery N.Z.A. from Napier arrived in Palmerston North by train this afternoon and transhipped to motor-lorries by which they left for Foxton, where they will go under canvas until Saturday next. The battery, which is armed with 18-pounder guns, will undergo a course of training and fire discipline, and the annual live shell practice will take place at the end of the week. The officers in charge are Major E. J. Phillips, Captain A. E. Lawry and Lieutenants W. D. Corbett, S. F. Gardiner and F, Davies.
