MANY UNEMPLOYED.
DEPUTATION TO POLICE INSPECTOR. Received February 7, 9.53 a.m. PERTH, Feb. 7. A deputation from the unemployed waited on the Inspector-General of Police and asked that he should convey to the Premier information of the large num';er,of workers at present out of employment. The reason advanced was that unemployed workmen were under the temptation to steal. —Press Association.
