RADIO AFFAIRS
PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB'S MEETING. The Palmerston North Radio Club met in the clubrooin last night when an endeavour to tune in on a programme from 2AQ (Taihapc) was made. The Risk Jubilee Singers’ items were board, but owing to some trouble at tlie transmitting station, the results were not very satisfactory. The station 2YM (Gisborne) was tuned in more successfully and later in tlie evening 2EC (Sydney) was heard, although heavy static spoilt the reception. The station 2EC is to bo changed to a lower wave-length shortly, when it is hoped to obtain better resuls.
