HOLIDAY Excursion Tickets, available for return until 14th February,l92s, will be issued from any station to any station from 17th December to 3rd January, inclusive. Extra mail and express trainls will run as under:— Leave Auckland for Palmerston North at 8.40 p.m. on 23rd, 24th December, and 2nd and 4th January. Leave Palmerston North for Auckland at 2.35 p.m. on 20th, 23rd, 24th December and 2nd January. Leave Auckland for Wellington at 1.0 p.m. from 17th December to 3rd January inclusive (Sundays and Christmas Day excepted). Leave Wellington for Auckland at 2.0 p.m. from 17th December to sth January inclusive (Sundays and Christmas Day excepted). Leave Wellington for Auckland at '8.35 p.m. on 24th December. Leave Wanganui for Wellington at 11.3 a.m. and Wellington for Wanganui at 7.40 a.m. from 20th December to sth January inclusive (Sundays and Christmas Day excepted). Leave Palmerston North for Napier at 12 noon and Napier for Palmerston North at 9.20 a.m. on 22nd, 23rd, 24tli, 27th, 31st December, and Ist, 2nd, 3rd and sth January. Leave Wanganui for New Plymouth at 2.22 p.m. on 20th and 24th December, connecting at Aramoho with 7.40 a.m. relief mail from Wellington. On 24th December train stopping where required leaves Wanganui 11.45 p.m., Palmerston North 3.5 a.m. (25th) for Wellington. Train leaves Wellington 11.0 p.m., Palmerston North 3.40 a.m. (25th) for Wanganui. This train connects at Palmerston North with train leaving Napier 9.30 p.m. on 24th for Palmerston North and with train leaving Palmerston North at, 3.45 a.m. on 2oth December for Napier. . , On the days the 2.0 p.m. tram Wellington to Auckland express train runs the usual 4.22* p.m. train from Palmerston North (except on 26th, 27th and 29th December) connects with that train at Marton.
