BRITAIN AND GERMANY. AUSTRALIA UNLIKELY TO JOIN. Received December 9, 1.15 p.m. MELBOURNE, Dec. 9. In answer to a question whether Australia was likely to join in the commercial treaty concluded between Britain and Germany, Mr Bruce replied in the negative.—Press Association.
