(From Our Owri Correspondent.) ? \ meeting of the Eeilding Hoy Scouts Association was held at Feilding yesterday, Commissioner Hassall presiding. There •were also present Rev. A. Mitchell, Messrs <_\ S. Jeffs, T. Watson and G. Fitzpatrick. The chairman mentioned that General Andrew©, Chief. Scout for New Zealand, liad promised to visit Feilding in the near future and would then take the opportunity of inspecting the troop. After some discussion regarding the advisability of Feilding having a separate district of its own, it was decided, oil the motion of Rev. A. Mitchell, that application be made to headquarters for the constitution of a new district for Feilding. The necessity for funds for the support of the local movement was brought before the association and it was decided to make an appeal to the public early next year. It'-.was decided to communicate with Miss Wilson, of Hulls, to find out if there wae a possibility of Feilding joining with the Hulls scouU in holding a combined camp. Mr Jeffs undertook to arrange the transport of a bugler from Feilding to tho Hulls campfire concert next month.
