SWIMMING.
MEETING OF CENTRE. The monthly meeting of the Mnnawatu Swimming Centre was held last night when there were present: Messrs J. Kuliev (>n 'he chair), 11. Snath, It. Peri-, sou. G. Aslibridge, W. Lewis and A. Garry (secretary). , The Canterbury Centre forwarded an invitation for members to, be present at the New Zealand championships at Christchurch next year. The writer also enclosed copies of the annual report and__hst of officers.—-It was stated that several members of the centre would probably accept the invitation. . , An application from the Pahiatua Club for permission to change the date of its carnival to January 30 was granted. Arrangements were discussed _ in connection with the proposed carnival to be. held on January 21.
