WOODVILLE SUMMER MEETING
Per Press Association. WOODVILLE. Dec. 10. Tlio Woodville Jockey Club’s summer meeting opened to day in fine weather and with a large attendance. The track was in splendid order. Results: Ilurdlee, lj miles.—The Emperor (Temera) 9.0, 1; Demand. 10.1, 2; Good Mark, 9.8, 3. Scratched: Roaming. Won by three lengths, half, a length between second and third. Time. 2.48. Trial Plate, live furlongs.—Peradeniya (Gray), 8.11, 1; Pupatonga, 8.11, 2; Bezau, 8.11, 3. Scratched: Newbury King and Revel. Won by a length. At yesterday’s meeting of the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association, an application was made to name a horse “Nepia.” Consideration was deferred.
