Trial Plate, live furlongs.—Peradeniya (Gray), 8.11, 1; Pupatonga, 8.11, 2; Bezau, 8.11, 3. Scratched: Newbury King and Revel. Won by a length. At yesterday’s meeting of the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association, an application was made to name a horse “Nepia.” Consideration was deferred.
