CUT UP BANK NOTES.
BOY'S FIND NEAR MUSEUM. Ralph Bourke, five years of age, is in the habit of - playing with bis little sister, about eight, in a reserve near the museum, William street, Sydney, and at dinner time recently be brought home u collection of cut parchment bearing the external evidence of 10s notes, £1 notes, und £5 notes, but in each instance the numbers were missing. Miss Jean Bourke, aged 1 14, a sister of the lad. having pasted tlio notes on cardboard, took them to the Bank of New South Wales, William street branch, and asked an official tliere to inspect lliem. Lie did so, and informed Miss Bourke that the pieces of parchment belonged to genuine bunk notes.
