ACCUSED MAN’S SUICIDE.
BODY FOUND IN RIVER. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 28. Tlio body of John Gordon Stewart was found in the Waimakiriri river today. Deceased was to have appeared at tlio Magistrate's Court last W ednesday to answer a chargo of alleged arson, but he made no appearance, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The day before his clothes were found on the river bank, and a letter in one of the pockets indicated that it was his intention to take his lile.
