MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
TO-DAY’S SITTING. Mr J. L. Stout, SAT., presided over a brief sitting of the Magistrate s (.’curt held this morning. John Kinley was charged with drunkenness and further with a breach of bis prohibition order. He pleaded guilty to Gotti charges and on the first was fined 10s m default 48 hours’ imprisonment, and on the second charge £l, in default seven days’ imprisonment. Fourteen days were allowed defendant in which to pay the tines. A first offending inebriate was convicted and lined 5s and costs. BREACH OF BY-LAW. Failure to observe the rule of the road while in charge of a motor cycle cost Gustave Schlierke 10s and c-ojfls.
