JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS. Per Pres? Association.. WELLINGTON, Nov. 30. T|io Wellington Coliege fiftieth jubilee celebrations were commenced on Saturday, when there was a huge gathering at the Town Halt of old boys from all parts, present boys, masters and friends. Speeches were made by Sir Francis Ret), STr J. P. Firth (headmaster for 29 years), Mr 11. Darrock, Mr A. do B. Brandon (one of the first six to enrol at the college), Mr T. R. Cresswell (present- headmaster), and Mr W. F. Ward (chairman of the Board of Governors). The proceedings were marked by great eqUiusjasiu. To-day a church parade was "held, tho old boys, in order of seniority, marching to tho Town Hall. On Monday there wilj be athletic contests between- old boys and present boys.
