LAWN TENNIS.
PROMOTION OF GOOD FEELING. INTERNATIONAL CLUB FORMED. Received November 29, 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 28. A gathering of the leading tennis players in Britain decided to form an international lawn tennis club, aiming purely at the promotion of international good feeling among the players of all nations. The new club will in no way usurp or overlap the existing organisations. It is hoped that branches will be formed in every tennis playing country. A committee was appointed under the chairmanship of Sir Leonard Lyle to carry out the idea.—A. and N.Z. cable.
